This apartment, which is in the heart of the city with spectacular view of the Haifa Wadi, is designed in a monochromatic urban style with modern cleanliness. Contrasts of dark concrete gray, light oak, and glass create a classic urban look yet with an open and bright feel. We faced a constraint – a constructive concrete pillar that had to be kept in the center of the space – was initially defined as a disruptive factor in the design. It was covered in gray silicate bricks, incorporated into the carpentry work and became a main element in the design. The bathrooms maintain the clean line of the apartment and the grayish material, slightly softened with the help of illustrated concrete tiles.
